Three awards are given at the end-of-program Symposium:
The Best Poster Award is given to the presenter whose poster, apart from excelling in esthetics, clearly communicates their research objectives and findings;
The Best Oral Presentation Award is given to the presenter who both clearly and concisely communicates their research to the audience, and effectively answers questions; and,
The Plant Biology & Conservation Award to given to the presenter whose understanding of the their research project and it's findings is communicated in both the poster and oral presentations. |
